Alongside this alliance, both companies have agreed to begin discussions regarding a potential future capital alliance, while verifying business synergies through this collaboration.

1. Background of the Alliance
Archelis was founded as a “monozukuri” (manufacturing) startup originating from a small-to-medium-sized enterprise. Leveraging expertise in metal processing and a strong development network, the company develops original products such as the “Archelis” assist suit and the “STABI series” (devices for reducing the burden of standing work), selling them both domestically and globally.

JMC provides services that support customer development through technologies such as casting, 3D printing, and industrial CT. JMC’s strengths lie in its speed and technical capabilities required at development sites. Furthermore, its proprietary product, the heart catheter simulator “HEARTROID,” has a strong global sales track record.

Through this alliance, Archelis aims to further expand the “standing work market” by combining its product lineup with JMC’s broad customer base in the manufacturing industry and the international sales channels established through “HEARTROID.”

2. Details of the Alliance
Archelis will leverage JMC’s customer base and network to begin the sales of its developed products as follows:

Scope of Operations: Market research, product promotion, sales activities, and related incidental operations.

Both companies will jointly conduct sales promotion and domestic/overseas sales activities through exhibition displays, seminars, and web marketing. The goal is to expand sales, strengthen product development capabilities, and accumulate know-how through personnel exchange.

3. Discussions Regarding Future Capital Alliance
Archelis and JMC will continue to discuss the possibility of a future capital alliance based on market response, synergy verification, and the progress of business plans. Helping reduce physical burden in operating rooms amid ongoing conflict

Yokohama, Japan — October 9th, 2025 —
Archelis Inc. (Headquarters: Yokohama, Japan; Co-CEOs: Katsuhiko Saho and Hideyuki Fujisawa) has provided its wearable exoskeleton “archelis FX” to surgeons in Ukraine through the non-profit organization Ukraine Yokohama Foundation (Representative: Leonid Shapovalov, Yokohama, Japan).
This initiative aims to support Ukrainian surgeons who continue performing long and demanding surgical procedures under challenging conditions. Archelis remains committed to developing and delivering solutions that reduce the physical burden on professionals standing for extended periods around the world.

■Background

Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, many people have been injured and require surgical treatment. As the number of operations has increased, so too has the workload and fatigue of surgeons.
In response to a request from Ukrainian surgeons, and through coordination by the Ukraine Yokohama Foundation, Archelis Inc. decided to provide Archelis FX wearable exoskeletons.
Surgeons at the Dnipro Military Hospital have already begun using the devices in surgical procedures.
