Why did you decide to try out Archelis?

Our company manufactures molds through plastic injection molding. We’ve been trying to automate things as much as possible, but it’s difficult to automate the removal of products from the molding machine. It’s a lot more efficient to have a human worker, especially for small-scale custom orders. This means someone has to stand for a long time in the same place, which is tough on their legs and back.

We were looking for some way to maintain efficiency while also reducing the physical burden of the work.

What were your first impressions of Archelis?

It was a big surprise. The first time we held a demonstration at our factory, we were all “Oh wow, this is quite something”.

Why did you decide to continue using Archelis?

When we actually tried it out we felt it made a real difference. Especially in places where you have to stand for over an hour, there was an overwhelming reduction in fatigue after the fact.

Please give us your thoughts on Archelis.

If you have to stand in place for over an hour, you can expect a huge reduction in fatigue if you use Archelis. And the effect will only get better the longer you have to stand. I highly recommend it to anyone who has to do that sort of standing work. 

There’s no negative effect on efficiency either, so you can make your workplace both healthier and more productive as a result.
