The Japan Industrial Standards (JIS)

The Japan Industrial Standards Committee has established “Structure and Testing Methods of Wearable Lower Limb Support Devices for Work Support” as a standard for the Archelis mechanism.

In 2018, Archelis was selected by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry as “New Market Creation Standardization System” and it went through the Review Committee’s process and was set as JIS.

This standard defines the method of conducting durability tests, the contents of the instruction manuals, the information to provide users, and other quality control activities.

JIS (Japanese Industrial Standards) is the Japanese national standards defining the specifications and measuring methods of industrial products. It objectively indicates the quality and properly shows the capability of the products.
