Archelis was has been selected by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) as a theme for the “New Market Creation Type Standardization System,” which enables rapid proposals for domestic standardization (JIS) of products that will create new markets and strengthen industrial competitiveness, without the need for consensus building among industry associations.

The Japanese Standards Association (JISA) will form a drafting committee including the proposing companies, and drafting of the standardization will be carried out. After drafting and deliberation at JISC, the draft will become a domestic standard (JIS).
